Stage 2 of the PWA Bathurst Office Refurbishment builds on the successful completion of Stage 1 delivered in 2019, extending and enhancing the existing tenancy on level 1 to meet evolving operational needs. The project involved targeted demolition and reconfiguration of the Level 1 office space to create a modern, functional workplace environment.
Works included the construction of new acoustic-rated meeting rooms and quiet rooms, expansion of open-plan workstations, relocation and upgrade of the reception area, and installation of new joinery and finishes throughout. The refurbishment also incorporated comprehensive upgrades to mechanical, electrical, fire, ICT, security and AV services to ensure compliance with current standards and seamless integration with base building systems.
Delivered within an occupied building, Stage 2 demonstrates a considered approach to staged refurbishment, minimising disruption while future‑proofing the workplace through flexible layouts and improved amenity.
